30 Sep 2008 — Dwyer Instruments, Inc., is announcing the release of its NEW MODEL BFA FUSE STATUS INDICATOR. The indicator shows normal or open fuse and also reports connection integrity. With a nominal 3-phase line voltage applied, the BFA flashes a normal LED green light that gives positive indication of a good fuse and integrity of the wire connection to each side of the fuse. The indicator flashes a red fault LED when a fuse is unconnected or open, if there is a lost connection to either side of the fuse, and if mismatched line or load wires are present. When phase loss occurs both fault and normal LEDs will extinguish. The Model BFA can be used for all UL Fuses Class H, J, K, R, RK.

22 Sep 2008 — The newest edition to the Techno-Sommer Automatic product line is the GGL3060 "Food" gripper. Designed specifically for food-handling applications the GGL3060 is sealed according to IP69K standards, allowing it to withstand both high-pressure and high-temperature (wash down) cleanings. The Techno GGL3060 gripper has a compact form with a matching corrosion-resistant, stainless steel design. It also meets DIN 1672-2 guidelines for hygienic food production machinery, making it food safe. This specialized gripper features jaws that swing open to a full 180°. This makes it very easy to have the gripper clear material below it. Additionally, the angular design of this gripper provides up to 33Nm (24lbft) of gripping torque and the unit includes sensors that sense jaw position.

Low Cost Conductivity Level Probe

New butterfly valve model types 56D and 75D feature rugged, molded plastic PDCPD bodies with durable Polypropylene or PVDF discs. Wafer style ANSI B16.5 bodies have been engineered to incorporate molded body stops to prevent over-tightening of the mating flanges during installation. Available in sizes 16"-24", the valves have a pressure rating of 110 psi at 70°F. The new 56D and 75D butterfly valves are an ideal solution for applications with higher pressure needs.

3 Sep 2008 — The Series EPTA Electro-pneumatic Transducer from Dwyer Instruments, Inc., converts an analog input signal to a linearly proportionate pneumatic output by modulating its control valves to regulate branch pressure. All models incorporate two low voltage valves, an integral in-barb filter, an analog 30-psi gauge, an anodized aluminum manifold, and brass barbed fittings. The EPTA offers adjustable span and offset as well as manual override. This unit has no air consumption and is immune to mounting orientation.

These low-cost reducers employ crossed-helical gears that provide a wide range of 8 output ratios.
